Session Title: Peace Concepts
Session Objectives: -Understanding the two common conceptions of peace: Negative Peace and Positive Peace.
-Develop an understanding of the concept of positive and negative peace.
-Showcase the ability to express and communicate ideas through artistic expression.
Key Concepts:  Peace can also describe a relationship between any people characterized by respect, justice and goodwill. Peace can
describe calmness, serenity, and silence.
 Negative peace refers to the absence of direct violence. Positive peace refers to the absence of indirect and structural
violence.

Valuing 10 mins. Activity: “Personal Story Telling”
a. Form a circle and encourage learners to share a personal story related to the theme. Thi
can be a moment from their life.
Journal Writing 5 mins. What new insights did you gain about the concept of positive peace through this activity?
