Session Title: Social Justice and Human Rights
Session Objectives: -Develop a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of social justice, human rights, public order, safety, and human
security.
-Enhance critical thinking skills by critically analyzing and evaluating the impact of social justice and human rights.
Key Concepts: Social justice is justice in relation to a fair balance in the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society
where individuals' rights are recognized and protected

Introduction and Warm-up 10 mins. Activity: Picture Analysis!
Materials: Visual Materials
Show a series of pictures depicting different social justice and human rights issues
such as child labor, gender inequality, or refugee crises. Ask the learners to observe
the images and discuss their initial thoughts and feelings.

Concept Exploration 20 mins. A. The teacher will give a lecture on the concepts of social justice, human rights, public
order, safety, and human security.
B. The teacher will facilitate a class discussion.
C. Encourage students to ask questions and share their thoughts and opinion on the topic.
Valuing 15 mins. Activity: “Watch me”
Materials: Film clip, TV
a. Show a short clip with child labor content.
b. Promptlearners and discuss character feelings and real-life connections.
c. Ask this reflective question: "If you were born in a poor family, are you willing to work
at a young age ?"
Journal Writing 15 mins. Write a reflection paper on a social justice issue that you feel strongly about. Discuss the reaso
why this issue is important and propose possible solutions.
