For my reflection, every criminal should be punished for his/her actions.

And, this
punishment should be adequate to the level of danger of the crime committed. However,
death penalty can’t be consider as a punishment.
First of all, God gave to every one of us the right to live. So who gave human the right to
steal the life of others? Criminals such as killer must be punished in the worst way ever
but shouldn’t be killed because we can’t solve a crime by another crime. To me, by
killing criminals, we will be doing nothing but another crime maybe most dangerous than
the previous one.
Second of all, in my opinion, death penalty would put innocent lives at risk because it’s
irreversible. Supposedly, a judge has mistaken or has judged someone innocent, if death
penalty is the punishment, we can’t reverse it when reality shows up and the real criminal
is known the innocent person would be already dead.
However, I don’t agree that one of the reason to abolish death penalty is that it costs too
much. In my opinion, we are tackling here a way more important issue than money:
humanity itself. So, I don’t think we must give the bigger importance to the financial part
of death penalty.
Death penalty should be banned because of the disrespect of human rights it causes, and
irreversibility.
