LESSON 1

To create a word, sentence, and paragraph in MS word, the first thing that
you need to learn is how to type, insert, select, and delete text. That is the basic task
you can do to make a document. So how we can do it? Here are the steps to do it:

Typing and Inserting a Text:

In a blank document, the first thing that you will see is the blinking vertical
line called the insertion point, where you can start typing and inserting a text in a
document.

To add space in your text, just press the Space Bar after a word or in
between text.
To add paragraph line, just press Enter and you will see that the insertion point
will move to the next paragraph line.

To manually place the insertion point, you can use the mouse to move it, just
click the location where you want to place it.

Selecting a Text

We select text when we want to format and move it. By doing this, you just
need to Click, Hold and Drag the mouse and once it highlighted, release the
mouse.
Once you select a text, A Mini toolbar will appear. This small box contains
different commands to edit a text.

To select multiple texts in a document, just Click, Hold and Drag a text by the
right slanted arrow.

Deleting a Text
There are many ways to delete a text:

 If you want to delete a text on the left side of the insertion point, press
Backspace.
 If you want to delete a text on the right side of the insertion point, press
Delete.
 If you want to remove a text, Select a word then press Delete or Backspace.
