Paranaque City Hall

As mandated by the SK Reform Act of 2016, one of the highlights of this year’s
celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan is the introduction of the Little Government City Officials who
served as counterparts of all elected city officials. These little officials were chosen from
different secondary schools in Paranaque based on their resemblance to the officials they were
a counterpart of, their leadership and academic background, and their willingness to work with
the officials. They were introduced during the Flag Ceremony that commenced last August 14,
2023. All government employees present in the Flag Raising Ceremony were able to get to
know our little officials. After, they were endorsed to the offices of their counterpart where
they see and learn how does being an elected official works. The highlight of their experience
was when they seat in the City Council Session, and witnessed how local ordinances are
formulated, debated, and revised before being implemented as local policy. There were a total
