It’s with great pleasure to inform you that your Application for Accommodation for the year 2024 was successful and
accepted at Joseph Wing Residence
Kindly please take note of the following impo ant information and dates to assure that the moving in and out
process for the 2023/2024 academic year is as pleasant as possible:
Moving out date for Current Tenants: As stipulated in your lease agreement and guided by The University of
Johannesburg, all tenants will be required to vacate the premises, sign back their room keys and book their
move-out process no later than on or before 30 November 2023.
Storage: Due to year end maintenance planning, housekeeping and fumigation, we will require all current and
returning tenants to kindly please move-out with all their belongings and valuables. However large items can
be stored free of charged in a designated store area identi ed by your on site maintenance management team.
If you will be making use of the above-mentioned storage o er, kindly please get in touch with your
designated prope y manager before moving out. By doing so you will familiarize yourself with all the safety
measurements including the terms and conditions.
Supplementa exams: Should you need to return back to the residence earlier due to a supplementa or
special exam, kindly please arrange with your designated prope y manager as they will need to make the
necessa arrangements. The following documents will be needed upon your arrival; proof of supplementa
exam as shown on your student po al. No printouts or emails will be accepted. Fu hermore, there will be a
daily rate of R100 payable upfront that will contribute towards the facilities for any supplementa or special
exams after 03 December 2023. Proof of payment will be required upon your arrival should you need to be
accommodated before the commencement date of the 2024 academic year. Remember to stay in touch with
your designated prope y manager for arrangements or clari cations pe aining to the above-mentioned.
Returning back to residence in 2024: All students residing under Jezreel Trading will be able to move into
their designated residences as of from Friday 26 Janua 2024 (NB: The move-in date applies to both senior
and rst year students). You may contact your designated prope y manager for prior arrangements should
you need to be accommodated earlier than the stipulated move-in date. Kindly please keep a close eye on the
Jezreel Trading website (www.jezreelstudent.co.za) and all social media platforms for extended o ce hours or
any general updates.
Lease Agreements and Agency Fees for 2024: All Lease Agreements will be completed and nalized upon
your arrival including collecting of suppo ing documents such as proof of registration, copy of student card
and ID where needed. Additionally; You will be required to provide an approval letter from your bursa
(veri cation of authenticity will be made) and NSFAS applicants will be expected to show the prope y
manager their po al depicting the application status prior to moving in. Kindly note that you will not be able to
move into your designated residence if a signed and fully completed lease agreement including your R250
agency fee is not received. The R250 agency fee is payable directly into the Jezreel Trading bank account
provided below or via Payfast on the Jezreel Website under the Contact Us tab.
