END-OF-SCHOOL-YEAR READING PROGRAM

WORKSHEET VALIDATION CHECKLIST

Briefer:

This Worksheet Validation Checklist is a specially designed template that serves as a guide to the finalization of the activity
sheets intended for the pilot implementation of the End-of-School-Year Reading Program in July 2023.

Each activity sheet included in this package will be printed loosely and classified as Emerging, Developing, and Transitioning.
These classifications are based according to the three lesson maps distinctly developed for the End-of-the-School-Year Reading
Program. The contents of these lesson maps evolve around the specific literacy skills of Alphabet Knowledge and Phonological
Awareness and are contextualized accordingly in the 19 major languages of our country. To address the specified objectives,
activity sheets were harvested from the existing materials originally developed for the related programs such as Bridging
Primer, Kindergarten Activity Sheets, and other locally developed learning resources. As these already exist and are in place,
the content component of quality assurance may be waived for this purpose. However, there is a need to rapidly check the
material in three components namely technical specifications, content, and copyright.
