1. Review and confirmation of the partnership letter dated August 18, 2023, between Sindh
Education Foundation and TANG.
Agenda of 2. Discussion on the commencement of TANG’s operations in SEF's first 15 schools from
Meeting January 15, 2024.
3. Agreement on the roles and responsibilities of SEF and TANG in the implementation
process.
Minutes of 1. Agreement on Curriculum:
Meeting As per the Minutes of the Meeting agreed on August 29th, 2023, SEF students will study Tang 1,
Tang 2, and Tang 3 from grades 8, 9, and 10, respectively.
2. Teacher Training:
I. SEF will be responsible for the training of 100 local teachers in operating the TANG system
and classroom management.
II. Training will focus on classroom organization and student supervision, lasting for 1 or 2
days.
III. SEF provides the following schools for the initial implementation:
a. Commence the CLP program from 15th January 2024
b. TANG 1, 2 and 3
4. Signing of LOU:
I. TANG and SEF will sign a Letter of Understanding (LOU) to formalize the terms of the
partnership:
a. A Letter of Understanding (LOU) is a formal text that sums up the terms of an
undertaking of a contract which may have been negotiated up to this point only
in spoken form or otherwise informally.
b. It reviews the terms of an agreement for a service, a project, or a deal and is
often written as a step before a more detailed contract is issued.
II. TANG-SEF and PIMSAT will sign a similar LOU for Chinese Language programs.
5. Commencement of Operations:
TANG-SEF Operations will commence in the 12 mentioned schools on January 15, 2024, with 35
staff members already trained.
I. On January 28, 2024, Team SEF will visit P-TEVTA to witness the administration and
operations of TANG’s CCTE programs and Chinese Language programs.
II. In February 2024, Team SEF will visit Gwadar Institute of Technology to witness the
operational process of TANG-GIT.
7. Expansion Plans:
Focal Person SEF will arrange two internal meetings with TANG:
I. Ms. Saima Sadiq, AD AALTP, for awareness of TANG programs.
II. Mr. Abdul Jabar Mari, Director of P&P and HR, to clarify TANG's proposed programs.
After the LOU, the aim is to meet Dr. Sheeren Mustafa Suhag, Secretary of Education, and Mrs.
Rana Husnain, Provincial Minister of Education, before the General Elections for their favorable
comments on future Government support.
Assign responsible parties for coordinating the signing of the Letter of Understanding between
TANG and SEF.
Coordinate the signing of the LOU for Chinese Language programs with PIMSAT.
3. Internal Meetings:
Focal Person SEF to schedule and coordinate internal meetings with Ms. Saima Sadiq and Mr. Abdul
Jabar Mari.
Arrange meetings with Dr. Sheeren Mustafa Suhag and Mrs. Rana Husnain to present the partnership
and seek their favorable comments before General Elections.
Communicate the next steps, including LOU signing, visits, internal meetings, and government
official meetings, to all relevant parties.
Establish a monitoring mechanism to ensure the successful implementation of the agreed curriculum
in the 12 schools starting from January 15, 2024.
Mr. Abdul Jabar Mari, Director of P&P and HR, to seek clarifications on TANG's proposal and
prepare necessary documentation for further approvals.
Coordinate the preparation of a presentation to be delivered to Dr. Sheeren Mustafa Suhag, Secretary
of Education, after the LOU is signed.
