Justification:
- Given the nature of student service center work, interpersonal skill is the most important factor because
working for students service center requires to deal with many stakeholders especially the students. And
maintaining a good relationship with public and students can help with achieving the BEST university with
excellent academic program and social responsibility. Therefore, I gave 40% of weight which is the highest.
- Organization skill is given the second highest weight (30%) because as we desire to promote the BEST
university, we wants to improve our academic field, financial parts and operation area, which require every
employee of students service center to be efficient without delay the whole process of the project. And most
of programs has time limitation, and students services center is busy all the time. Thus, it need employees
be very self-management and can schedule his or her agenda more effective to compete with other
universities.
- computer knowledge is given 20% of weight because most tasks need computers as assistant and as such a
large university, most files and records are reserve in university’s database in order to managed and retrieve
to interpret the data and provide information for strategy but it is not necessary since most students’ inquiry
can be solved by paper documents.
- Work experiences is given 10% of weight. Although it is important, it receives lowest weight because the
working experiences can be cumulative and increased during the working. And some individuals who even
has lots of working experiences but cannot adapt the changing environment and deal with different
situations in student services center.
