3. Brainstorm with group members suitable
topics derived from the theme for the Plan
of Investigation
4. Write the first draft of the plan of
investigation and have it reviewed by
peers.

Plan of Investigation
The plan of investigation is an introduction to the topic. It
answers the following :

❖ why did you choose this topic?

❖ what are the expected benefits to you as a student of
English Language?
❖ how do you intend to collect relevant information on
the topic and use it in your presentation ?

It is to be completed in 100 words.

Rubric
The total score for this section is 10
marks, however, this grade will be
scaled down to 5. As such, your total
score will be divided by two to derive
at your final grade.

At this point you need to
engage in a
brainstorming activity to
finalize your topic.
Some persons may have
shared on mindmeister in
the last session.
