Teacher Observations

2. LESSON RATIONALE

A brief outline of WHY this content is the basis of the lesson, and why these teaching KEY*
methodologies were selected- a justification.

In this lesson, I will first complete an icebreaker with the class so I can get to know them RL
more quickly and learn their names. NL
I then will discuss the class rules and routines with the students so they can implement them
in the class and make it a better learning environment.
I will give an overview of what is planned for the 8 weeks and any goals/projects I want to
complete.
I am doing an exit card to discover whether the students are taking the information on
board and what they are finding hard with the topic.
The students are in their second year of graphics so it's reasonable to inspect that they can
use set squares and other drawing equipment.
