Rules and Regulations (UPDATED)

Regular Season Rules

Time Rules
1. 4 quarters of 4 minutes each
2. Running clock except: clock stops on dead ball situations the last 2 minutes of each game
• 30 sec shot clock in effect during last 2 minutes of game
3. In the event of a tie at the end of regulation there will be an overtime period of 3 minutes (running
clock).
• Clock only stops on dead ball situations during last minute of overtime
• 30 sec shot clock in effect during last minute of OT
4. If still tied, after one overtime period, each following overtime period necessary will be 1:30 in length
5. Each team gets 3 timeouts per game, each team has 1 timeout in overtime

In-Game Regulations/Foul Rules

1. Two referees will work each game
2. If a player gets 4 personal fouls they are disqualified from the game
3. If a player gets 2 technical fouls they are disqualified from the game
4. If a team commits two intentional fouls during last 2 minutes of game, it will result in 2 free throws
5. If a team commits two intentional fouls during last minute of OT, it will result in 2 free throws
6. 3 female players must be on the court at all times
7. Players can be in the paint area for 5 seconds at a time
8. Players have 7 seconds to inbound the ball from out of bounds
9. A coin toss will be determine which team gets the ball first, the team who loses the coin toss will
start with the possession arrow in their favor
10. Possession arrow will switch after each jump ball tie up
11. No defensive players are allowed past half court until the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter
12. No full court press or intentional fouls allowed until the last 2 minutes of 4th quarter
13. Standard free throw rules will be followed (Ex: Shooting foul on missed 2 point shot = 2 free throws,
etc.)
14. A regulation women’s basketball will be used at all times in league play (28.5)

League Tiebreakers
Order of Tiebreakers
1. Overall win-loss record
2. Head-to-head record
3. Least technical fouls committed by a team
4. Lowest amount of players on a team with no points scored
5. Coin toss

Championship Game Rule Changes

1. Game will be 4 quarters of 8 minutes each

2. Clock will stop in dead ball situations in last 4 minutes of the 4th quarter
• 30 sec shot clock in effect during last 2 minutes of game
3. If a player gets 5 personal fouls they will be disqualified
4. If a player gets 2 technical fouls they will be disqualified
5. If an overtime period is necessary, first overtime will be 5 minutes, each overtime
period after that will be 1:30 in length
• Clock only stops on dead ball situations during last minute of overtime
• 30 sec shot clock in effect during last minute of OT
6. Each team gets 4 timeouts, one in each overtime
