Sociologists define social class as a group of people with similar socioeconomic


status or standing within the society based on the level of income, education, and
occupation. Social classes range from low to high and often reveal inequalities in terms
of power, influence, and access to resources. In connection, the Philippines is composed
of three major social classes namely: Upper Class, Middle Class, and Upper Class.

DIRECTION: Read and understand the given questions. Write your answers on a short-
size bond paper. Answers must have not less than 250 words.

1. If you would identify yourself or your family in one of the three social classes, what
would it be? Please explain your reason.

2. What do you think is the implication of your current social class to your dealings
