A. Preliminaries
Review/Drill: (Indicator 3)
 To my dear students, joining our online classes is highly encouraged so you
won’t miss anything in our lesson now. Anyway, just do back reading of our
GC and by staying alert of my reminders coming from our FB group.

contributes to the theme and learning each will help us have better
understanding of what we see. Explain briefly how the elements of full-length

Directions Read and study the following.
 To evaluate is to judge or determine the significance, worth, or
quality of a thing, person, or event. Evaluation is intended in simple
term as the indication that something is good or bad.
Language which expresses opinion, attitude, and point of view of
a speaker or writer is called evaluative language. A writer can either use
explicit or implicit language to express evaluation.

 The following are some common words we can use to express evaluation better:

Using your FB wall, post a social media campaign expressing your thoughts,
opinions, ideas, and evaluation on how the Philippine Government, DOH, and WHO
exerted their efforts to combat COVID 19 Pandemic. Don’t forget to use evaluative
language in your post.

ABSTRACTION: Students like you should be aware on what’s happening in our
community, most of the time, we tend to criticize and we often
give reaction on how people reacted or responded on a
particular incident. With this in mind, you tend to use
evaluative language

Health &AP- We are currently facing and fighting the ongoing COVID
19 pandemic. We are being challenged and had been affected in many
ways and in different aspects of our lives. We keep ourselves updated
and posted on the existing battle of Philippine government, health
workers, and Filipinos against COVID 19 pandemic. Explain how your
social awareness raised on the said issue.
