Ben had trouble falling back asleep after being woken up multiple times during the night. He was woken by loud music upstairs, then a crying baby downstairs. Though he tried reading, drinking milk, and playing on his phone to relax, he remained awake due to the noises. By the time it was finally quiet, Ben was no longer tired. He counted sheep to try and fall asleep, and finally did after counting to 586, but his alarm soon woke him again. Feeling tired, Ben decided to take a nap during his lunch break to make up for lost sleep.

Ben Gets Woken Up
Ben got woken up, because someone was playing loud music upstairs. He got out of bed, turned on the lights, and read a book for a while. At 2 in the morning, it finally got quiet upstairs. Ben turned off the lights and wanted to continue sleeping. After a while, the sound of a crying baby came through from downstairs, and Ben was unable to fall asleep. He let out a sigh and sat up. He walked to the kitchen and drank a glass of milk. He looked at the time. It was already 3:45. Ben was really tired and returned to his room. He could hear snoring from his roommate next door. He was tired but unable to fall asleep. He played with his phone for a while, and at 4:30 his surroundings were finally quiet. There was no music, crying baby, nor snoring, but Ben was no longer tired. He was unable to fall asleep. Ben started to count sheep: “One sheep, two sheep, three sheep…” When he had counted 586 sheep, Ben finally fell asleep. But after just a short while, his alarm clock rang, and Ben had to go to school. Ben awoke and let out a sigh again. He decided to go home early at lunch and have a nap, to make up for lost sleep.
