INTRODUCTION

Reliance Jio’s official name is “Reliance Jio Infocom Limited”(RJIL) is an provider of


mobile telephony broadband services and digital services in India.
The telecom leg of “Reliance Industries limited” it was incorporated in 2007 and it
based in Mumbai ,India.

Reliance Jio Infocom limited, doing their business as Jio, it’s a LTE mobile network
operator in India.
INTRODUCTION

It is a wholly owned subsidiary of reliance industries headquartered in Mumbai, that


provides wireless 4G LTE services network (without 2G/3G based services) and is
the only 100% VOLTE operator in the country with coverage across all 22 telecom
circles in India.

The services were first beta – launched to Jio’s partners ad employees on 27ᵗʰ
December, 2015 on the eve of 83ʳᵈ birthday anniversary of late Dhirubhai Ambani,
founder of reliance industries and late services were commercially launched on 5ᵗʰ
September 2016.

In June 2010, reliance industries bought 96% stake in infotel broadband services
limited (IBSL) For ₹4,800cr.
Later continuing as RIL’s telecom subsidiary, Infocom broadband services limited
was renamed as reliance Jio Infocom limited (RIJL) in January 2013.
In June 2015 Jio announced that it will start its operations all over the country by
the end of 2015.
At the beginning test stage, Jio was opened only for the employees of reliance
industries.
The commercially launched its services on 5ᵗʰ September.
Within the first month of commercial operations, Jio announced That it had acquired
16 million subscribers.
This is the fastest ramp - up by any mobile network operator anywhere in the world.

celebrities to act in its commercials and become associated with its brand.
As part of promotional activities reliance, Jio offered free internet Wi-Fi services at
six cricket stadiums during ICC world twenty20 and each and every one og its
services free till the end of the financial year 2016.

After the end of free period Jio brought their plans at very cheap cost which enforce
its competitors also to reduced and change their plans.
After Jio’s entry airtel, Vodafone, idea all other telecom service providers faced big
losses.
Due to Jio India became world’s 2ⁿᵈ largest internet user base (after China).
Currently Jio becomes India’s largest mobile carrier with 331 million users.
SUGGESTIONS

Majority of the customer felt that they want to remove the problem of call blocking
and call drop.
Company should improve the ambience of the service stations.
The download and upload speed of the network has reduced drastically in many
places. The reliance Jio sim users are expecting high speed. so increasing network
speed at great extent. It would be better.
Reliance Jio’s frequent update innovation technology when its required.
Giving continue offer on calls to customers at best possible levels will be good.
To develop better 4G plan and value scheme
Reliance Jio sim should introduce some new schemes for the youngsters.
CONCLUSION

In India, FREE is not just a word, it’s an magic or emotion to change the people’s
mind and make them to fall on the particular product or thing. Jio is following same
tactics to reach people and grow its network.
People are comfort with the speed of 4G. It is tough for the people to leave the
network. Mukesh Ambani understand the feelings of the customers and make profit
on our feelings and emotions.
