Patterns
Before we start, below is the list of abbreviations to guide you through the process
of creating your amigurumi. The materials listed below are the items used for this
pattern.
Pattern Instructions:
This pattern is written using American terminology and is worked in continuous
rounds unless otherwise stated. Each toy varies in size, please refer to the individual
patterns for exact sizes with the recommended materials.

Abbreviations: Materials:
MR - Magic Ring - 2.5mm Hook
st - Stitch - Yarn - less than one ball for each colour:
sc - Single Crochet Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 Ply
inc - Increase (Refer to each pattern for specific colours)
dec - Decrease - 6mm safety eyes (refer to each pattern if
slst - Slip Stitch eyes are required)
ch - Chain - DMC Stranded Thread - Dark Brown
hdc - Half Double Crochet (refer to each pattern if thread is
dc - Double Crochet required)
tr - Triple Crochet - Fibrefill / toy stuffing
FLO - Front Loop Only - Stitch markers
BLO - Back Loop Only - Embroidery needle
Basic stitches explained:
The stitches illustrated below are the stitches that are generally used for this pattern.
Decrease (Dec):
The invisible decrease is an alternative method of decreasing which will
1 make your decrease stitch look much like the other stitches in the row,
resulting in a smoother and more even crochet fabric.
Step 1: Inset the hook in the front loop of the first and second stitch
2 Step 2: You now have three loops on your hook. Wrap the yarn over the
hook and draw it through the first two loops in your hook.
Step 3: Wrap the yarn over again and draw it through the two loops
3 remaining on your hook

Rnd 2: (2sc, dec, 2sc) x 6 [30]
Rnd 3: (3sc, dec) x 6 [24]
Time to make the mushroom stem.
Rnd 4: FLO, sc in each st [24]
Rnd 5: (3sc, inc) x 6 [30]
Rnd 6 - 7: sc in each st [30]
Rnd 8: (3sc, dec) x 6 [24]
Stuff the mushroom stem.
Rnd 9: (1sc, dec) x 8 [16] - With dark brown DMC Stranded Thread,
Rnd 10: 8dec [8] embroider the eyes to the mushroom stem,
Fasten off & leave a long tail to close the hole. between rounds 4 & 6, 4 stitches apart.
Weave through front loops & pull tightly to close - With rose yarn, embroider the cheek lines to the

Flower
Continue Making the Flower Petal: Your Flower is Now
Rnd 7: (3sc, dec) x 3 [12] Completed!
Rnd 8: sc in each st [12]
Stuff the flower petals. Fasten off & leave a long
tail for sewing.
Assembly:
- Sew the petals to the flower centre piece,
between rounds 5 & 6. The petals should sit next
to each other.
- With dark brown DMC Stranded Thread,
embroider the eyes to the flower centre, between
rounds 2 & 3.
- With dark magenta yarn, embroider the flower
lines to the antique rose petals. Whilst, with
antique rose yarn, embroider the flower lines
to the dark magenta petals. Each petal has two
flower lines, sewn between rounds 4 & 7 of the
petals.

Mountain (Dark Teal & Dark Turquoise
Yarn):
The pattern starts from the bottom up. Starting
with dark teal yarn, ch 6 & start crocheting in the
second ch from hook. Working around the ch.
Rnd 1: 4sc, 3sc in the last ch, continue
crocheting on the other side of

Working in rounds. embroider the eyes to the mountain, between
rounds 8 &10, 3 stitches apart.
Rnd 1: MR 6sc [6]
- With rose yarn, embroider the cheek lines
Rnd 2: 6inc [12]
between rounds 8 & 9, 1 stitch from the eyes.
Rnd 3: (1sc, inc) x 6 [18]
Rnd 4: sc in each st [18]
Rnd 5: (1sc, inc, 1sc) x 6 [24]
Rnd 6: (sc, hdc, dc-inc, ch1, dc-inc,
hdc, sc) x 4 [32]
Slst to close the round. Fasten off & leave a long
tail for sewing.
Assembly:
- Sew the ice cap onto the top of the mountain.

Ears x 2 (French Blue Yarn):
Working in rounds.
Rnd 1: MR 4 sc [4]
Rnd 2: (1sc, inc) x 2 [6]
Rnd 3: (1sc, inc) x 3 [9]
Fasten off & make the second ear, but do not
fasten off. You will now join the two ears and

Hair (Purple Rain Yarn): - With rose yarn, embroider the cheek lines to the
body, between rounds 9 & 10, next to the eyes.
Hair: (ch4, start crocheting in the second
ch from hook, hdc, sc, slst) x 2
Fasten off & leave a long tail for sewing. Do a
double knot with the yarn tails to bring the ends
together.
Assembly:
- Sew the end of the wings to the body, between
rounds 9 & 10, then sew them down to the
body. Wings are 3 stitches from the eyes.
- Sew the beak to the body, between rounds 8 & - Sew the hair to the top of the bird.

Lightly stuff the strips. Fasten off & leave a long tail
for sewing.
Assembly:
- Sew the rainbow strips to the base of the cloud,
between rounds 7 & 13. Sew the rainbow strips
in this order, tomato, orange, pastel yellow, bottle
green, French blue & purple rain.
