The Montreal Declaration for Responsible AI is a
document that outlines a set of ethical principles for the

(AI).

It was created by a group of AI researchers and industry

professionals who gathered in Montreal, Canada in 2018
to discuss the ethical implications of AI.
National AI Portal:

It is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and IT

(MeitY), National e-Governance Division (NeGD) and
NASSCOM.

It serves as a central hub for Artificial Intelligence

● It will provide insights about capabililies of the Indian

Industry across 25 technology areas like internet of things (IoT),

ARTPARK

● An AI & Robotics Technologies Park (ARTPARK) set up in

Bengaluru will promote technology innovations in AI (Artificial
Intelligence)& Robotics leading to societal impact

● It is a unique not-for-profit foundation established by Indian

Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru with support from AI Foundry
in a public-private model.

● It is being funded from Department of Science &

Technology(DST), Govt. of India, under the National Mission on
Inter-disciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS).
PIVOT

● It is AI-based tool developed by researchers at IIT Madras

● Aim- To predict cancer-causing genes in patient

● It is a machine learning (ML) tool and uses different data, viz.

mutation & gene expression, to foresee cancer-causing genes.

● It will help in formulating strategies for personalized cancer

treatment.

platform.

● A Bhashini Platform will make Artificial Intelligence (AI) and

Natural Language Processing (NLP) resources available to MSME,
Startups and Individual Innovators in the public domain.

● Bhashini Platform is a part of the National Language Translation

Mission under Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology
● Mission Aim— To ensure that as more Indians connect to the
internet, they are able to access global content in their own

● Significance — It will empower Indian citizens by connecting
