Grappling problems in industrial automation could involve
dealing with difficult or challenging issues that arise during
the implementation or operation of automated systems.

1. integration challenges
2. technical issues
3. data management
4. maintenance and support

THE REMOTE CENTER COMPLIANCE DEVICES

REMOTE CENTER COMPLIANCE (RCC) DEVICES

passive devices used in automated assembly. These

devices are often used in applications where precise force
control or compliance is needed, such as assembly tasks or
manipulation of delicate objects.
THE REMOTE CENTER COMPLIANCE DEVICES
EXAMPLES:
1. Active Compliance System: An active compliance system is a
sophisticated RCCD that incorporates sensors, actuators, and control
algorithms to provide real-time force control and compliance adjustment.
2. Remote Center-of-Motion Tooling: Remote center-of-motion (RCM) tooling
is a specialized RCCD used in robotic surgery and minimally invasive
procedures.
3. Flexible Grippers: Flexible grippers are RCCDs designed to provide
compliance and adaptability in robotic gripper systems.
4. Active Compliance End Effectors: Active compliance end effectors are
RCCDs equipped with force/torque sensors and actuators that actively
adjust the end effector's compliance based on feedback from the
environment.
5. Constrained Compliance Devices: Constrained compliance devices are
RCCDs that provide compliance along specific axes while constraining
motion along others.
6. Soft Robotic Grippers: Soft robotic grippers are RCCDs made from flexible
or elastomeric materials that deform to grasp and manipulate objects of
varying shapes and sizes.
STEPPER MOTOR
IS AN ELECTRICAL MOTOR THAT ROTATES IN A SERIES OF SMALL ANGULAR STEPS,
INSTEAD OF CONTINUOUSLY.

stepper motors are used in floppy disk drives, flatbed scanners, computer
printers, plotters, slot machines, image scanners, compact disc drives,
intelligent lighting, camera lenses, CNC machines, and 3D printers.

Rotor: The central rotating part of the

motor.
Stator: The stationary part of the
motor that houses the electromagnets.
Bearings: The bearings support the
shaft and allow it to rotate smoothly.
