The teacher will present pictures
with short/a/ and long
/a/sounds and students will
guess the picture.
The teacher will ask:
What have you noticed with the
sounds of the words you have
guessed?
The teacher will introduce to
students the sounds to be
discussed.
During 120 mins The teacher will introduce words
Reading with short /a/ and long /a/
sounds.
Let the students read the words
presented.
After reading the words, the
teacher will present phrases,
sentences, and short story with
short /a/ and long /a/ sounds
and let the students read.
Post-reading 30 mins The students will answer the
comprehension questions based
on the short story read.
The teacher will ask of what the
story is all about or the moral
lesson of the story.
The teacher will ask for example
words with short /a/ and
long /a/ sounds.
