A. Let the children prepare for an oral reading.

B. GAME

WORD FLASK

1. Divide the class into 2 groups.


2. Let one pupil per group stand.
3. Let the pupils give a word that starts with a letter flashed by the teacher.
The first one to give a correct word will take one step until he or she
reaches the finish line (3 words)
4. Do this for all members of the group. The group with most number of
pupils that finishes the line will win.
5. Give stars for each pupil as a reward.

C. ORAL READING. Give rules for oral reading for the pupils.

D. Use the FULLER METHOD in reading. (Teacher may use other


reading materials/techniques in reading)

E. READING SENTENCES

1. Let the pupils pair with their seatmates and exchange at least 5 words
learned. Let the pupils share the words and explain the meaning of it to
Post Reading 30 mins their seatmates.
2. Let the pupils pick 5 words from the passages presented and write a
simple sentence about it
