My Problem Statement:

Problem: The South African education system is not adequately preparing young students
for life after school, resulting in high youth unemployment rates and negative impacts on the
economy and society.

Specific: The problem is the insufficient preparation of young students for employment,
leading to high youth unemployment rates.

Measurable: Measure the decrease in the youth unemployment rate and the increase in the
country's labor force and GDP.

Achievable: Develop and implement effective solutions to enhance students' skills and
employability within a specified timeframe.

Relevant: The problem is significant as it affects a large population of unemployed youth and
has widespread implications for the country's economy and social well-being.

Time-Bound: Implement the solutions within a specific timeframe, aiming to launch the online
skills development platform and virtual learning platform within one year and achieve
significant reach and impact within three years.

By addressing the problem and implementing the solutions, we aim to reduce youth
unemployment, increase the country's labor force and GDP, redirect government resources,
and create a more economically active and skilled youth population. The provision of
infrastructure, resources, and improvements to the education system are critical steps to
achieve long-term positive outcomes.

Mission statement:

My mission is to break the norm, it is to push the boundaries of what is possible and what
our lives should be like. My mission is to never put a limit to what can and cannot be done by
me, or Africa’s youth. Because once we put a limit on ourselves, we have lost. There are
always other new ways to utilize resources and what we have, the only thing left is for us to
bring out those new things for the world to experience.
My key strengths are being a quick learner, goal-oriented, driven, a problem solver and
eager to learn new things.

My key strengths are my creative thinking, I do not conform to the thought process that
things are black and white, there are always many ways to view projects and problems. My
other strength is data-based problem thinking, the best way to solve problems is not to shoot
in the dark and hope to hit the target, first get data that might narrow down the options and
then be creative. I also learn new things quickly.

creating employment opportunities for youth and helping women appreciate their inner
beauty. She runs her salon with a mission to make every customer feel special and valued.
Mavis also conducts skill development programs for young people, reducing unemployment
and keeping them engaged in productive activities. She draws inspiration from her mother's
dedication to uplifting the younger generation. Mavis considers herself a creative
problem-solver, deriving ideas from various sources. She stays motivated by focusing on her
vision and seeing obstacles as challenges to overcome. Her advice is to stay focused, see
problems as opportunities, and find solutions instead of dwelling on difficulties.
