 Be involved in the purchasing of sheet metal competence from Jindal steels and that the purchasing
process is constantly developing.
 Ensure that the business is cost-effective and reaches set goals for quality and delivery ability.
 Work to continuously improve results in safety, quality, productivity and cost.
 Responsible for analysis of material handling and improvements.
 Ensure efficient logistics and supply processes to OEM including safe working practices.
 Participate in cross functional teams within Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing.
 Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the system
 Update account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken; update receivers and
customers on status of loads
 Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition
 Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to
marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes.
 Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentation.
 Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on direction
from account managers.
 Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers.

chain. Ensure inventories are correctly dimensioned and maintained at optimal levels, striking a
balance between operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
 Manage the day-to-day operational relationship with suppliers. Facilitate regular communication,
address issues proactively, and collaborate on solutions to maintain a reliable and efficient supply
flow.
 Serve as the point of contact for supplier escalations. Address issues promptly, implement corrective
actions, and establish contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
