dictionary to search for the sound & transcript

Ss are asked to pair up & read theory in p23, 24 in 5 mins >> share with class about what they undestand (call
volunteer - if not >> randomly)

T show table of alphabet & IPA >> Ss are asked to voice out the difference

VOICED vs VOICELESS
- T reviews the IPA chart - this time Ss are required to put their fingers on their neck to pay attention to the status of
it being vibrant
- T points randomly (voiced, voiceless sound) for Ss to produce sound (still keep putting fingers on the neck)
- Ss are asked to say whether there's any difference between those practiced sounds >> expected: vibrant / non -
vibrant
>>> vibrant: voiced sounds >< non - vibrant: voiceless sounds >> EX 3
- T asks Ss to recall the definition of pronoun & types of pronoun they learned from lesson 1: groups of 3 (each
group - one 1 mindmap) >> work in 5 mins

3. Indefinite pronouns 30 - T leads to the new type of pronouns: indefinite pronouns (Đại từ Bất định là những từ không chỉ cụ thể đến người
