a. identify the personal safety protocol conditions during workouts
b. enumerate safety precautions during participation
c. observe personal safety protocol to avoid dehydration, overexertion, hypo- and
hyperthermia.

I will group you into 3 groups.
Each group will be given a brown envelope.
Inside the envelope are the scrambled letters
and a picture. Try to guess the picture and
paste it in the board together. I will only give
you 3 minutes to puzzled it.

Today, we will discuss and learn about

Personal safety is a strong sense of awareness


of your own personal safety.

In order to have a self-awareness in personal


protocol we should identify what are the
condition where we able to avoid it.
This are dehydration, overexertion, hypo-and
hyperthermia.

Dehydration refers to excessive loss of water
from the body, usually through perspiration or
sweating, urination or evaporation.

where you loss a lot of water from your body.

For the safety precaution, after the physical


activity or exercise, you must drink enough
water to replace he body fluid during the
activity/exercise.

Overexertion refers to the detrimental cause of
excessive training.
Do you know what is detrimental mean class?
No ma’am.
Okay detrimental means it causes you harm,
in short harmful or dangerous.

Overexertion is also called over use of body


or overtraining.

To avoid overexertion, you decrease the total


number of sets or exercise or both.

Next is, Hyperthermia. It is an alarming rise in


the body temperature, which an effect of
exercising a very humid environment.
It can also lead to a heat stroke.
