6.2. Climate change in Bethioua (Algeria)

The data presented below are based on the recording of atmospheric pressures from Oran
(Algeria) reported at sea level (in millibar) for the year 1970.
The recording interval was three (03) hours.
The maximum depression observed during three hours was 3.8 millibars.
The maximum rise observed during three (03) hours was 1.25 millibars. The
maximum depression reported per hour was 1.97 millibars.
The summary of the observed data is as follows:
- The minimum pressure recorded on 12/29/1970 was 992.8 millibars
- The maximum pressure recorded on 02/17/1970 was 1032.1 millibars
