Video Lecture Guidelines

Objective:

The objective of this performance task is to create a short video lecture that
effectively communicates a specific concept in MAPEH. The video should be
engaging, clear, and informative, catering to the elementary students’
understanding level.

Duration:

The duration of the video lecture should be between 5 to 10 minutes.

Content Guidelines:

Choose a Topic: Select a specific concept in MAPEH 7 – 10 or PEH 1-4 in SHS.

Ensure that the topic is suitable for the target audience's level of understanding.

Outline the Lecture: Plan the structure of the lecture, including an introduction to
the topic, an explanation of key concepts and examples, and a conclusion
summarizing the main points covered.

Visual Aids: Utilize visual aids such as diagrams, graphs, or animations to

enhance understanding. Visuals should complement the explanation and help
illustrate key points.

Examples and Demonstrations: Include relevant examples and demonstrations to

illustrate how the mathematical concept or technique is applied in practice. Use
both numerical and real-world examples where possible.

Clarity and Organization: Ensure that the content is well-organized and

presented in a logical sequence. Clearly label different sections and transitions
within the video.

Technical Guidelines:

Video Quality: Record the high-quality video (at least 720p) with clear audio. Use a
stable camera or screen recording software to avoid shaky footage.

Presentation Style: Choose a presentation style that suits the topic and your
personality. You may opt for a talking head format, voice-over slides, or a
combination of both.

Editing: Edit the video to remove any mistakes, pauses, or irrelevant content. Add
transitions, captions, and visual effects as needed to enhance the overall
presentation.

Submission Guidelines:

Submit the video lecture along with any supplementary materials (such as slides or
handouts) if applicable.

Submit the video lecture by March 09, 2024, via Google Drive.
