a. CALOPE JURAJES y MACARINE, 22 y.o. male, single, fisherman.


b. RAFAEL GALVEZ y PARA, 43 y.o.,single with live-in partner, both a
residents of Brgy. Magallanes, Limasawa, Southern Leyte
.
V. MISSION:

To apprehend violators of Presidential Decree No. 449 (Cockfighting Law


of 1974) and brought them to justice.

VII. NARRATIVE:

1. That at about 1:35 o’clock in the afternoon of January 24, 2021


this office received a call from a BIN informing that an illegal cockfighting
transpired at Brgy. Magallanes, this municipality. Acted upon, PNP personnel of
this station led by PSSg Eric L Pomarejos under the supervision of PLT ANALEE
A GAVIOLA, OIC, were dispatched to validate the veracity of said report. Indeed,
it was found out that an ongoing cockfighting (tari-tari) was happening without
any permit resulted to the arrest of the foregoing personalities while others
managed to escape upon recognizing the operating team.

2. That within the covered time from 1:30 – 03:00 o’clock in the
afternoon of same date, team led by PSSg Eric L Pomarejos under the
supervision of PLT ANALEE A GAVIOLA apprehend Two (2) violators who
violated the Presidential Decree No. 449 (Cockfighting Law of 1974).

3. Suspects were arrested together with the confiscated items

4. Further, suspects were temporarily detained at the lock-up cell


of this office for proper disposition.

VIII. RESULT OF THE OPERATION:

The operation was successful.

IX. OBSERVATION:

The thoroughness of evaluation of information, approach, judgment,


combined with coherent organization and supportive Eye in the Barangay implies
the attainment of police works. Such operation conducted as immediate action
taken by this office has proven the strong determination to enforce the law without
fear nor favor and compliance with existing orders to bring all criminal offenders to
justice.

X. RECOMMENDATION:
It is strongly recommending that appropriate award be given to the
above mentioned PNP personnel who are directly involved in the successful police
operation as narrated above.
