_________________2. The trait-based leadership view is not practical in the business world today, where
circumstances can change quickly. The trait-based approach is insufficient in explaining leadership
effectiveness in different roles because there are many types of leaders working successfully in a variety of
industries (Zaccaro 2007). Therefore, it is not accurate to state that all of these leaders have the same traits,
with similar leadership styles and skills.

_________________3. The cardinal and the goldfinch are two common birds. Both are brightly colored.
Both are common at birdfeeders. But the birds have some differences. The male cardinal is bright red, while
the male goldfinch is yellow. Cardinals like shrubs and trees, while goldfinches prefer open meadows.

_________________4. The Florida worm lizard does not have legs or feet. It is about eight inches long and

other lizards’ mouths. Its body is covered with scales.

_________________5. The Gainesville City Zoo just received three new animals. The first animal it
received was a deer. A monkey was the second animal to join the zoo. The third animal it received was a
lion. The last animal to arrive was a cheetah. Children in Gainesville are excited about the opening of the

_________________ 6. Obesity has become a major health issue for North Americans, and his problem is
aggravated by the lack of physical activity in large segments of the population. In addition to healthier eating
habits, one solution would be to make it easier for obese North Americans to exercise on a daily basis. This
could be done at work, before and after the shift, to ensure full participation in the program. This program
would be beneficial to obese employees as they would be required to participate twice daily to help decrease
obesity among North Americans.
