A Semi Detailed Lesson Plan in English III

I. Objectives:
After the class, the students will be able to:
1. Identify statement which is a reality and fantasy
2. Give examples of statement which are reality and fantasy
3. Show cooperation in all group tasks

II. Subject Matter:


Statements: Reality and Fantasy
Materials: construction papers, pentel pens
References: English 3 Textbook, Dynamic in Reading 5
Process Skills: identifying
Values Integration :Good relationship with others

III. Learning Tasks


A. Preparatory Activities
1. Drill:
Reading of Poem

2. Review:

-What are the different parts of the letter?

B. Lesson Proper:
1. Motivation:
Let the learners read the statements and watch the pictures then after that
ask some questions.

2. Presentation:
The teacher will ask questions to the pupils.
3. Discussion:
Reality- tells about things that could really happen.
Fantasy- tells about things that could not happen in real life.
( The teacher will present some sentences and let the learners identify it
whether a reality or fantasy.
( Let the pupils make their own examples of statements which are reality
and fantasy . )
4.Generalization:
What is reality?
What is fantasy?

5.Application:
Before giving the activities to the children, the teacher will present the
rubrics for them to be guided in doing the activity.

IV. Evaluation:
Identify the following statements whether reality or fantasy.
1. The tree has many leaves.
2. The leaves can talk.
3. The cat bought milk in the mall.
4. There are many children in the school.
5. The chocolate is sweet.

V. Assignment:
Go around your school then make statements which are reality and
situations that are fantasy.
