a. recognize that the Philippines is a tropical country;
b. identify the factors that affect the climate in the Philippines;
c. describe the climate in the different parts of the Philippines with the use of the climate map.

c. Materials: Flipchart, map of the Philippines.
III. Procedure
A. Routine Activity :

B. Motivation
The teacher will show a crossword puzzle and the student will find there the words that provided
below. After that, she will ask what are those word.
C. Presentation of Lesson
The teacher will ask the student if what weather they are going to experience today.
D. Discussion
The teacher will discuss the factors that affect the climates and describe the climate in different
parts of the Philippines.
E. Application
The teacher will show a picture and the student will going to identify if is it for dry or rainy
season.
F. Generalization
The teacher will ask the student the following questions
1. What are the two season in the Philippines?
2. What are the reason why the Philippines experiencing a tropical climate?
G. Evaluation
Identify and Write C if it is for climate and W for weather.
