Good evening, everybody, on today’s show we are going to discuss how the Internet
is being used to commit crimes and lurk people. On the one hand, social media apps
can be used to socialize, make friends, and even meet Mr. or Ms. Right. On the other,
we have countless social media network platforms where many can be exploited
by the ill-intended actions of social predators. That’s why you should always pay
attention to all kinds of information provided in those websites. At first, you may find
yourself in a friendly and reliable atmosphere due to the fact that everybody can be
a potential friend. People tend to relax and forget that the Internet is a place where
everything is possible, being very difficult to tell if what the other person is saying is
really true or not. Since the dangers are many, it is suggested that you should always
check the sources and look for some more information before meeting a person you
befriended online, out of social platforms.

Emilia: We got together with the families that lived in our street and decided
to host a summer camp about sustainability at the local club. The
kids and the parents, of course, enjoyed the activities so much that
we decided to expand to communities that lacked information and
couldn’t afford hiring this kind of service.
Interviewer: That’s truly amazing! How long have you been working with
unprivileged children?
Emilia: It’s been quite a while, almost four years.
Interviewer: A
nd how do you get the money to pay for the expenses you may have?
Emilia: We make do with what we can get from donations and also the selling
of our T-shirts. That way, not only is the community helping children
that wouldn’t have access to this kind of information, but they are also
taking home a little memento of our NGO.
Interviewer: Well, we are running out of time. It was really nice meeting you and
being able to help you promote this truly amazing job you are doing.
Emilia: Likewise. Thank you so much!

time when giving back to their communities. Even though big companies are
thought to be less involved in those practices, some of them have gone pretty

it is one of the most socially responsible companies in Europe. Many actions are
known to be implemented, ranging from green measures to learning programs
for children. Getting to reduce the amount of plastic used in their product
