Developing a website for announcement and occasions for the

students of Subic National high School

I. Introduction
This part presents the rationale, hypothesis, benefits and

beneficiaries, feature and specification, market trends and

opportunities, environmental safeness, and cost effectiveness.

Rationale
The study focused on an online website designed to foster a

'Community of Inquiry' to address the the concerns and

insights of the students and keeping them updated to the

school announcements and events. Minor variations in

instructor behavior significantly impacted student

performance, with fewer announcements and reduced feedback

leading to a 50% increase in students earning lower grades.

The study identified social and cognitive presences as key

factors, with students reporting higher levels achieving

significantly better grades. This highlights the importance of

instructors in creating a supportive community among online

students, ultimately improving student performance.(d’Alessio,

Matthew A., et al)

A website for student announcements and events serves as a

central hub where students can access vital information,

ensuring equitable access for all. Its accessibility from any

location and device helps prevent important details from being

overlooked. Administrators and event organizers can provide

prompt updates, keeping students informed about any changes or

new events. Additionally, interactive features like forums and

comment sections facilitate student engagement, feedback, and

questions. The platform can also be utilized to promote

events, ultimately boosting attendance and participation. By

publishing resources, guidelines, and FAQs related to events

and announcements, the website aids students in understanding

participation expectations and requirements. Furthermore, a

well-designed website reflects professionalism and underscores

the school or organization's commitment to effective

communication and organization.

To create a comprehensive website for students to stay

updated on school announcements and events, several key

features and functionalities should be considered. First, user

authentication should be implemented to allow students to

create accounts and access announcement and event information.

A centralized announcement feed and an event calendar would

provide students with important school updates and upcoming

events, while also allowing them to register for various

activities. Notifications via push alerts or email would

ensure that students are promptly informed about important

announcements and upcoming events. Additionally, customizable

profiles and discussion forums would facilitate student

interaction and engagement. The website should support

multimedia content sharing and provide search and filter

options for easy navigation. Mobile compatibility and

accessibility features are essential to ensure that students

can access the website from various devices and accommodate

those with disabilities. Integration with social media

platforms would enable students to share and discuss

announcements and events. Furthermore, an admin dashboard with

robust privacy and security measures would allow

administrators to manage content, user accounts, and ensure

data protection.

In the rapidly evolving landscape of education and

technology, creating a website tailored to keep students

informed about the latest announcements and news presents

numerous market trends and opportunities. By incorporating

digital marketing trends in education, such as personalized

content and video dominance, educational websites can enhance

engagement and reach students effectively. Additionally,

aligning with the best school website designs and

understanding effective higher education marketing trends can

provide a competitive advantage in attracting and engaging

students. Embracing the latest education marketing trends,

including leveraging student influencers on social media, can

amplify brand awareness and appeal to prospective students.

Furthermore, staying abreast of higher education website

design trends specific to 2024 can ensure that the website

resonates with students, ultimately enhancing their experience

and keeping them informed about important updates and events.

In the context of developing a website for students to stay

updated with the latest news and announcements, the use of

navigational wireframes serves as a visual blueprint to

effectively communicate design concepts and functionality.

This approach enhances the platform's usability and can

streamline the development process, potentially reducing flaws

in the finished product and improving cost-effectiveness.

Navigational wireframes also facilitate easier communication

among stakeholders, ensuring a shared vision for the online

platform. Furthermore, by enabling early detection and

resolution of design issues, the use of navigational

wireframes contributes to the creation of a well-designed and

user-centric website for students to access important news and

announcements.

Hypothesis

The following null hypothesis were tested to determine the

efficacy of Using Navigational Wireframes to Build an Online

Canteen Food Ordering and Management Platform at Subic

National High School.

1. Implementing navigational wireframes in building an

online canteen food ordering and management platform at

Subic National High School does not result in a

significant improvement in the efficiency of the ordering

process.

2. The use of navigational wireframes does not lead to a

notable increase in user satisfaction with the online

canteen platform at Subic National High School.

3. The implementation of navigational wireframes does not

enhance the overall user experience in terms of

navigation and usability in the Subic National High

School online canteen platform.

6. The inclusion of navigational wireframes does not result

in a substantial decrease in the time required for users

to complete an order transaction in Subic National High

School's online canteen platform.

7. There is no significant improvement in the accessibility

of the online canteen system for users with varying

levels of technological proficiency when navigational

wireframes are employed at Subic National High School.
