(5 points) ANALYSIS/ OBSERVATIONS/ SUGGESTIONS

nd
As 2 time around to experience this HAYAG Festival, I have observed new things and some
changes, those are:

Analysis and Observation

a. New competitions like Laro ng Lahi that contributed in Socio-Cultural experience of
students and faculties.
b. Appreciation to all performing contingents by calling their number sequence instead of
delivery units.
c. Reducing of the Literary Competitions like Talumpati, Masining na pagkukwento,
Acoustic, Street Dancing and other competitions that could also contribute to
experiencing more of the real Hayag festival.
d. Lack of preparation that reflected during the presentation of advocacy.
e. Late guidelines from the CPAU that also affected the preparations of every Delivery Units.
f. The CNSC was still able to conduct 16th Hayag Festival after hosting the PASUC, it
contributed to the observance of sportsmanship and appreciation to arts.

Suggestion
g. An early preparation for the next year Hayag festival would be a great contributor to a
more successful observance of this celebration.
h. Bring back other Literary Competitions and events mentioned above to showcase more of
the skills of CNSC students and experience more of Socio-Cultural Celebration
i. Extension of the celebration.

Note: Please enumerate, not essay. Be specific.

What are your take aways and what is Hayag’s Impact to future Teachers like you?

This 16th celebration of Hayag Festival is a great experience for an aspiring teacher like me, it
was a way of observing cultural appreciation in this modern world. I was exposed to various
art forms, traditions, and service projects that broadened my perspectives and instills an
appreciation for diversity. This is a great learning experience to be shared for my future
students that I had a meaningful Socio-Cultural interaction in various events. This event had
shaped me for a more diverse type of learning in the class. I can associate this in my future
teaching with a touch of culture.

FRIENDS MET: Have three groufies with students from other colleges and describe
each picture.
Pictures Description
This picture was taken during the last day of the
celebration. They were my classmates in high school.
We met in the student park where the booths were
located. We were also able to interact again after years
of separating our ways in studying. We were also able
to share about what our departments have prepared
for this year’s hayag. Our interaction, although for a
short period of time, was a way of enjoying one of the
essences of Hayag Festival which is to have a sense

of connection with the other departments.

In this unexpected day, I was able to meet my Ka-

tropa from the College of Arts and Sciences. We have
met each other during the simultaneous event of the
Laro ng Lahi during the third day of the celebration.
The College of Arts and Sciences and the College of
Education are great competitors during the Laro ng
Lahi securing a spot to advance in the bracket,
however, we were able to support each department
with sense of camaraderie.
My Ka-tropa from CAS

College of Engineering, a great competitor of College

of Education for securing the back-to-back
championship for Hayag Festival but a great friend of
mine. We were also able to hold short conversation for
this year’s Hayag Festival.
