BARANGAY EXECUTIVE ORDER

No. 2 Series of 2024

Reorganizing of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) of

Barangay Timbangan, Calbiga, Samar

Pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circulars No. 2004-07 and Barangay Ordinance No. 2
Series of 2024 entitled “An Ordinance Creating the BADAC Auxiliary Team/s the Barangay
Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) Auxiliary Team/s of Barangay Timbangan,
Calbiga, Samar, is/are hereby constituted as follows:

Section 1. Composition – The BADAC Auxiliary Team (One) shall be composed of

the following volunteer-members representing the various sectors and areas in the
Barangay, to wit;

Section 2. Organization – The BADAC Auxiliary Team shall hold an organizational

meeting on __________________, 202__ at ______o’clock AM/PM at the Barangay Multi-
purpose Hall to elect from among themselves the Team Coordinator and Assistant
Coordinators and Other Officers to make the team/s more functional and effective.

Section 3. The BADAC Auxiliary Teams shall have the following functions and
responsibilities:

1. Identify and report to the BADAC, drug dependent cases and/or suspected
pushers, illegal drug/ laboratories in its areas;
2. Assist in the conduct of information campaign against illegal drugs and its
negative consequences;
3. Help facilitate in the preparation and distribution of information materials in
collaboration with the school, neighborhood organizations, and others;
4. Initiate the conduct of neighborhood activities to prevent drug addiction in its
area of operation especially among children and youth through poster
making, paintings, slogan and jingle contests, cultural, social and sports
activities.

Section 4. Effectivity – This order shall take effect immediately.
