Content: Organic Compounds
Performance Standard: Create a poster showing the examples of organic compounds.
Competency:

- Read and study week 6 module (Variety of Organic Compounds). 2. Nail Polish
-Use long bond paper in creating your output. 3. Candle
-Draw some organic compounds that are available in your house. 4. Soap
-Example of organic compounds are in the right side.
-Use coloring materials such as crayons, acrylic colors, and other coloring materials that would show
creativity and design of your output.

Performance Task Option 3: Compounds All Around
Content: Carbon Compounds
Performance Standard: Create a short video showing the organic compounds that we use every day and can
be found in every house.
Competency:
1. Recognize the properties and use of organic compounds.
2. Identify organic compounds that is available in every house.
Direction:
-Took a picture of at least 5 organic compounds that is available in your house.
-Add captions/texts that describes every picture based on its:
1. Chemical composition or chemical formula.
2. Short description.
3. Use of the compound.
-Add animations, creativity and design on the pictures and texts/captions.
-You can use background music.
-Video must be at least 2-3 minutes duration.
