Group 1: Bohr Atomic Model

Goal: 3D Atomic Model


Instructions:
1. Based on your assigned elements, show the number of protons and neutrons inside the nucleus and
electrons around the nucleus in its orbitals.
2. You may write the name of elements, alence eletrons and some its important uses in the based of
your output which is in an upright position.
3. Show creativity in your output, use any coloring materials of your choice to make it more attractive.

innovate and improvise showing your originality and creativity.

Group 2: Ionic and Covalent Bonding
Goal: Interactive Bonding Types
Instructions:
1. Use styrofoam as a base of your output, ½ size Styrofoam for Ionic and Covalent Compound
2. Create a small circle representing as nucleus of your element.
3. Create orbitals where your can put your electrons around following the number of electrons in each
orbits (principal energy level). Write the principal energy level from n1-n4.
4. Use thumbtacks or push pin as your electrons. You may print a small ball/circle with negative sign
to represent as the electrons.
5. For ionic bond, complete the number of electrons of your assigned compound and show how
electrons are transferred by using an arrow.
6. For covalent bond, complete the number of electrons of your assigned compound and show how
electrons are shared by using single bond or double bond.
7. Show creativity in your output, use any coloring materials of your choice to make it more attractive.
8. Innovate, improvise and add your touch of originality in your output.

Goal: Poster of Formation of Ions
Instructions:
1. Use a ½ illustration board to accomplish your task.
2. Discuss how ions are formed (cations & anions).
Discuss which types of elements are involved in ionic bonding and the types of elements that lose
and gain electrons.
3. Write only important captions that are necessary for your output.
4. You may include a step-by-step process in forming ionic bonding.
5. Showcase your creativity and innovation. Use coloring materials or any design of your choosing that
will make your output more attractive.

Group 4: Organic Compounds
Goal: Organic Compounds Molecular Model
Instructions:
1. Create two organic compound models (1 hydrocarbon and 1 alcohol) - please choose long carbon
chains starting from butane/butanol with a greater number of carbons.
2. Ensure that your output is in an upright position standing from a base, displaying the molecular
structure of your organic compounds.
3. You may use Styrofoam balls or crumpled papers turned into balls to represent the atoms of a
specific element. Write labels on each molecule indicating what element it represents. (BIGGER
BALLS)
4. You may use sticks, wires, or any material that will serve as the type of bond (single or double).
5. Show creativity in your output; use any coloring materials of your choice to make it more attractive.

ensure you innovate and improvise to showcase your originality and creativity.

Goal: Organic Compounds Molecular Model
Instructions:
1. You may use ½ size illustration board or Styrofoam as the base of your output.
2. 5 organic compounds must be presented. (2 hydrocarbons: methane and ethene, 2 Alcohol:
Methanol and Ethanol, and 1 carbonyl group: Acetone).
3. Show the molecular structure of the following compounds mentioned above.
4. Labels each molecules with its assigned element.
