Conducting on-site training at 10:75 Dormitel from February 29 to March 15, 2024 is

a journey of discovery and skills development in the field of hotel management.

The training was designed to provide us with practical experience and a deeper
understanding of the complex issues involved in running a hotel.
My first days were in the lobby and garden where I learned the importance of
welcoming guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
This role is important because it allows me to develop my social skills by
interacting with guests from a variety of backgrounds.
During my training, I also tried my hand at the role of Front Desk Service
Officer (FOSA).
Here, I performed a variety of tasks, from answering guest questions to managing
arrivals and departures, which honed my multitasking skills.
The final phase of the training took me behind the scenes of the housekeeping
department.
It was in the quiet of hotel rooms that I practiced and learned the art of room
preparation and cleanliness, ensuring that each guest was welcomed into a pristine
environment.
During this time, I not only gained practical knowledge about room layout and
reception services but also honed my ability to communicate and connect with
people.
One of the most challenging aspects of the training was getting used to tasks like
cleaning and polishing, skills that were initially unfamiliar to me.
However, with the support of my friends and a willingness to learn, I overcame
these challenges and turned them into valuable learning experiences.
Reflecting on this entire experience, I can confidently say that it was
extraordinary.
This reinforced my dream of working in the hospitality industry and gave me a new
appreciation for every role in hospitality, especially housekeeping.
The lessons I learned and skills acquired during this training are assets that I
will carry with me into my future career, laying the foundation for my aspirations
to become a successful hotelier.
