BUSINESS PROPOSAL

DRIVE-THRU AGRIMART
(PLANNED BUSINESS)

I. Statement of the problem/need/opportunities seen


- During the pandemic, many farmers were compelled to leave tons of their
harvest to rot, as they had no choice. Farmers have been prevented from
transporting their produce to market because of rigorous quarantine
regulations and a lack of public transit. The situation has gotten so bad
that some farmers are pleading with social entrepreneurs to buy their
products in bulk, hoping that their harvest will not go to waste.
- Due to the COVID-19, everyone is being encouraged to limit face-to-face
contact. Through Drive-Thru AgriMart, consumers will be able to buy fresh
produce in the most convenient way without sacrificing their safety.
- Millennials are known as the hardest working generation, thus their busy
schedules. With Drive-Thru AgriMart, millennials will no longer have to
worry about how much time they would have to spend buying fresh
produce since Drive-Thru AgriMart will be offering a wide variety of
agricultural products.

II. Proposed solution to the problem/need or opportunities seen

- AgriMart will support and help farmers by buying their fresh produce at a
reasonable price.
- Covid-19 The pandemic has brought us to the "new normal," which
requires minimal social interactions. Drive-thru AgriMart is a place where
customers can shop for produce while remaining in the comfort of their
own vehicles. Like all other drive-thru stores they have to provide a list of
the goods they wish to purchase and hand it over/tell it to the store
employee who will pack it for them. Contactless shopping at a Drive-thru
Mart has a significant impact on society and the well-being and
convenience of customers who use it.
III. Rationale
In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, a "new normal" has
emerged, requiring fewer social interactions. Drive-Thru Stores are primed
to become the next-generation shopping concept. Contactless shopping at
a Drive-thru AgriMart has a significant impact on society and the
well-being and convenience of its customers. AgriMart is a store that
focuses on locally produced agricultural and poultry items such as eggs,
fresh fruits and vegetables, and other fresh produce. It is also anticipated
that it will assist local farmers in improving their living conditions and
increasing their product sales.
IV. Objectives

● To provide wide variety of agricultural products and high quality service


that allows customers to purchase their needs and wants at reasonable
prices and in a short span of time
● To provide alternative means of shopping that bring ease, convenience,
and helps to alleviate crowding and therefore virus transmission.
● To deliver a unique customer experience by allowing the customers to
shop while in the comfort of their car.
