    On January 18, 2024, KGG personnel were performing an overhaul of a 24" ball valve at the Owaza NOPL location in Abia State, Nigeria for Total Energies. Nine personnel worked on cleaning and polishing the valve interior, removing and cleaning the existing seat and seat holder, and attaching a new seat to the seat holder. Some non-productive time was spent waiting for tools and fixing equipment issues. Safety protocols were followed and no significant health or safety concerns were reported. Difficulty was experienced removing the ball from the valve. Routine inspection of tools and keeping spare equipment was recommended.
