2. PURPOSE
The purpose of safety walk down is to show the management commitment towards health, safety and
environment of the Project.
AS per KPI, CALIK performs safety walk down on weekly basis in order to determine safety condition
on site and identify areas for improvement.
HSE walk through shows the support and leadership of management towards HSE and to motivate
employees to work in safe way avoiding unsafe behaviours, acts and conditions.
The effectiveness of the Weekly Walkthrough and Inspection Program leads to the achievement of the
following objectives:

 Construction operations and activities are executed in accordance with the established HSE
Plans, Procedures and Method Statements to ensure compliance with applicable and current
HSE legislation, regulations, standards and Company requirements.
 Seek of Opportunity for Improvement by the involvement of Management during HSE
inspections.
 Enhancing positive HSE culture and motivation of frontline supervisors and workers.

3. IMPLEMENTATION
HSE Walk through is conducted weekly basis.
High management from both company and Contractor perform the site visits to randomly chosen site.
During the walk-through management observes whether the HSE requirement are met, raises observation
and questions employees and supervisors in order to evaluate the level of implementation of Company and
Contractor HSE procedures.
After Management HSE Walk through, CONTRACTOR shares all HSE issues to all attendees for
necessary actions at their part.
