1. How can we alleviate uneven development?


We can alleviate uneven development by evaluating the a lot of strategies that help the countries that
faced uneven development become better for national scale. Moreover, in order to alleviate the uneven
development on an international scale, different countries in the world need to collaborate with one
another by forming international organizations. As a result, they can alleviate uneven development and
achieve the same objectives in their countries.
2. What are international organizations that are mentioned in the book? Briefly describe it in your
own words.
The World Bank provides financial and technical assistance to developing countries to support their
development projects, such as infrastructure, education, and healthcare. It aims to reduce poverty and
promote sustainable economic growth. The Asian Development Bank focuses specifically on Asia and
the Pacific region, providing loans, grants, and technical assistance to its member countries. It
supports projects in various sectors, including transportation, energy, and agriculture, with the goal of
reducing poverty and fostering regional cooperation. Both organizations play important roles in
promoting development and addressing economic challenges in their respective regions.
