The phrase that I heard growing up was hard work beats talent.

I liked this phrase because I wasn’t the

most talent person growing up so I knew if I was able to work hard then I would be able to get through
conflict. The phrase the I think reflects me best is just try your best and have a positive attitude. I make a
lot of mistakes but I always give my best effort and have a good attitude in everything I do and especially
with conflict I will try to have a positive attitude. I wish I dealt with conflict with an open mind and
always try to put myself in other people’s shoes. I believe my first choice reflect the conflict model since
I was getting into to more conflicts at the time and that phrase really pushed the mentality. The next to
phrases more promoted the conflict free approach since I was trying to get better at avoiding and
resolving conflict rather than making it.
