encouragement from the book. For weaker pupils, list out the page number for answers.
5. Distribute Worksheet 10(b) which has the format of writing a note. Ask pupils to write a note of
encouragement for each picture in worksheet. (HOTS)
6. Then, cut out each note from Worksheet 10(b) and paste it in Worksheet 10(a).(CBA)

1. Play the song Street safety page 59 (CD2- Track 3) and encourage pupils to sing along.
Lesson delivery
2. Divide pupils into groups of four.
3. Tell pupils that they are going to carry out a class survey about their favourite means of
transport.
4. Teacher draws a table on the board and pupils copy it in their notebooks.
ACTIVITIES
5. Explain to pupils that in turn, they will have to ask What’s your favourite mean of transport?
And write the name of each pupil in the group under his/her favourite means. (HOTS)
6. Once all of the groups are done, have a pupil in each group report the results of the survey.

7. Ask pupils to think about their learning and performance in this unit. They then complete the
