Person A : Hello! How was your day today?

Person B : Hi! My day was good. I woke up early, had breakfast, and went to work. How about you?

Person A : I had a similar day. I went to work too. What do you do for work?

Person B : I work in an office. I answer emails and help customers.

Person A : That sounds busy. After work, what did you do?

Person B : After work, I went to the gym to exercise. Then, I cooked dinner and watched TV.

Person A : Nice! What did you have for dinner?

Person B : I had chickens and rice. It was simple but tasty. How about you? What did you do after work?

Person A : I went for a walk in the park to relax. Then, I read a book before going to bed. It was a quiet evening.

Person B : That sounds peaceful. Well, it's time for me to sleep now. Have a good night! Know

2 : 05 = it’s five past two
2 : 10 = it’s ten pas two

 6:25 - It's six twenty-five ( 6 : 25 ) For minutes 1-30 we use PAST after the minutes.
For minutes 31-59 we use TO after the minutes.
 8:05 - It's eight O-five (the O is said like the letter O) Example :
 2:35 - It's twenty-five to three
 9:11 - It's nine eleven
 11:20 - It's twenty past eleven
 2:34 - It's two thirty-four
 4:18 - It's eighteen past four
 8:51 - It's nine to nine
 2:59 - It's one to three

2) When it is 15 minutes before the hour we normally say: a quarter to

3) When it is 30 minutes past the hour we normally say: half past
Example :
 3:30 - It's half past three (but we can also say three-thirty)

 5:00 - It's five o'clock  twelve o'clock

 1:00 - It's one o'clock  midday = noon

Sometimes it is written as 9 o'clock (the number + o'clock)  midnight

 3am = Three o'clock in the morning.

 3pm = Three o'clock in the afternoon.
