How to access Sunset Maths

Step 1:
Open the Essential Assessment home page and in the top right-hand corner click on

This will take you to the login window to enter in student login information.

Once the student is logged into their account.

Note: Not all operations will be available at the same time. This will be set by classroom teachers, directly linked to the
current learning taking place during the term.

Once you have clicked on the operation to begin, you will be taken to a new page. To start click on
the large icon in the middle. In the example below:

Please Note: Essential Assessment is one of our schools Assessment platforms for Maths. As
Sunset Maths is accessed through the Essential Assessment platform, families and students are
reminded not to complete any assessments at home if they are displayed on the homepage when
student’s login. If any assessment are completed at home, the classroom teacher will reset the
assessment and students will complete this during the allocated session within the classroom.
