Details of Events:

The events have been categorized into the following five categories:
1. Programming
2. Electronics
3. Non-Technical
4. Entrepreneurial
5. Promotional Events

1. PROGRAMMING EVENTS
These events consist of various challenging and interactive competitions
providing an opportunity to participants to compete with their peers and have a
fun time. The event aims at testing the knowledge of the participants based on
heterogeneous skill sets and team work. The main competitions proposed under
this category are: -

1. FILL IN THE CODE


This event aims to test the participants on the basis of the abilities to
comprehend incomplete code snippets and making optimized codes from them.
FILL IN THE CODE is one fun event that tests the participants to realise
incomplete code snippets given to them and narrow down to successfully running
codes.

2. DATA BREACH
If the statistics are boring you’ve got the wrong numbers!
In this event participants are encouraged to get their hands dirty with datasets
and produce accurate answers. The participants will have a chance to compete
with their data enthusiast peers and promote healthy learning through
competitions.

3. Css Battle
Beauty is the illumination of your soul!
In this event, let dwell deep into our hearts and express it in the most artistic
way. Given a webpage, participants will have to beautify it and convey it the
most tantalising way. The competition aims to promote creative thinking and
appreciating the designing skills of the participants.

4. DUPLICATE
One man's crappy software is another man's full-time job, isn’t it?
The event promotes an environment to produce development solutions to real
life problems. Participants get a chance to build and develop software to solve
a given problem from the resources provided by the team.
5. CAPTURE THE FLAG
“If you can control the Code, you can Control the world”. This is an ethical
hacking competition where teams will have to solve problems based on Web
Exploits, Binary Exploits, Cryptography, Steganography and other fields of
Cyber Security within the limited time frames. So put on your thinking caps
and breach your way to victory.

6. BUG-DEBUG
“Passion Drives Perfection”
Bug Debug is an event for all those coders out there who have what it takes to
make the imperfect code perfect. Participants will be provided with a problem
statement and its buggy solution. They will be required to test the code, detect
the bugs and submit the correct version of the code with minimum possible
changes in the code.

7. BATTLE OF CODES

Battle of Codes is a competitive programming event where the


participants/teams are required to code solutions for DSA-based problems.
They need to code the solution in such a way that it works efficiently for the
constraints given in the problem statement.

8. BIDDING LOOP

Bidding loop is a bid and code event aimed to provide a strategic angle to the
coding events. Participants will have to bid for loops, if conditions, and
problem statements and solve the problems in the fastest time possible to win.

2. ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION EVENTS

1. ROBOWAR/ ROBO SOCCER/ ROBO RACE-


Witness sparks fly as metal crushes metal in the most glorious battles interspersed
with magnificent artist performances for non-stop entertainment. The event aims
to provide robotic enthusiasts an opportunity to compete with their peers and
battle against each other and to win various competitions using their robotic
friends.

2. Lord of the line

Build your own autonomous robot within the specified dimensions to achieve the
maximum speed to beat other robots on the given track and reach the
destination in minimum time. The robot must start behind the starting point
and is considered to have crossed the finishing line if any part of the robot
crosses it in a full lap of the course. The robot must follow the black line

The challenge is to Build your own drones within the specified dimensions in
order to achieve the maximum speed to compete against others on the given track
and reach the finishing line in minimum time.

4. CIRCUIT DEBUGGING

The competition is designed to test the knowledge of the participants in the field
of ` network analysis and circuit connections on breadboard.

3. ENTREPRENEURSHIP EVENTS

1. CRYPTO MANIACS
The event aims to cater the participants inclined towards the new crypto world an
opportunity to share their ideas, opinions and compete with people sharing the
same interests. The event provides an environment to everyone to enhance their
crypto trivia and learn new things.

2. CLASH OF COMPANIES
Clash of Companies is a signature event which promotes the free market
economy. Participants are allotted a team in a particular faction and they have
competed with teams in their faction while negotiating and interacting with teams
of the other faction.
The event aims to provide students with real life corporate experience and solve
challenging issues while tackling constructive criticism from other participants.

3. ROUND TABLE
The event aims to facilitate an environment to have a healthy discussion over
entrepreneurship ideologies and recent affairs where participants are allowed to
cross question statements given by each other and figure the boons and the banes
of the specified topic.

4. AD MAD
This event is designed to assess/ evaluate the creative and innovative skills of
the participants. The participating teams have to prepare and present an
advertisement/ campaign.

5 SHARK TANK
The competition provides students with the opportunity to pitch a business idea to
a panel of business leaders, promoting entrepreneurship and the potential for small
business ownership to local students.

4. CULTURAL/ NON-TECH EVENTS

1. TREASURE HUNT

Treasure hunt, the idea of hunting for hidden treasures has always been exciting
and adventurous. In treasure hunt, participants work in small teams to find the
treasure with the help of given clues. The team who decodes the clue and finds the
treasure first will win the game.

2. EDM NIGHT/ COLLEGE BAND

These events aim to provide recreational opportunities to the participants. All


these events are proposed to promote a light hearted and relaxing ambiance.

3. GAMING EVENT

Keyboard warriors assemble!

The world has changed a lot, and so has the gaming interests of people. Esports
have come a long way and have transformed into one of the biggest cooperate
market. This event aims to provide an opportunity to our own Esport enthusiasts
an opportunity to showcase their gaming skills and battle against their peers just
through their mobile screens.

4. MATRIX QUIZ

The Objective behind to organize Quiz competition is to evaluate the knowledge


of the participants within academics as well as beyond academics and to make
them familiar with the prospects of quizzes and the objectivity of the questions

5 U HACK

U HACK is an overnight software hackathon, fuelled by grit, passion and coffee. Shoutout to
all computer nerds and gizmo geeks. Hackathon is a chance for all developers, hobbyists,
students, or anyone else to build an innovative application revolving around a given theme in
a single night fuelled by creativity, passion and grit. What the application does is only limited
by your creativity!
