What is the Eustress?

Eustress is a positive form of stress that can


result in a sense of fulfillment and
motivation.

How about the Distress?


This type of stress is caused by situations
that feel overwhelming and lead to feelings
of anxiety, depression, and other negative
symptoms.

Healthy vs Unhealthy Coping Strategies.

who among you has experienced stress?

Me, ma'am, when my grade is low, I feel


pressured and stressed because my mother
might scold me.
that is the cause of being stressed.

The last topic is about stress, and now


we will go to healthy and unhealthy
coping strategies.

Coping strategies are the tools and skills


used to manage challenges and changes
which cause stress. Coping strategies can
be emotion focused where individuals focus

on dealing with their feelings as a result of

individuals actively try to eliminate the
stressor itself.

It helps whenever we have a problem


and to solve our problem. but we have
two types of coping strategies. These
are healthy and unhealthy coping
strategies.

reduce the negative emotions associated

relationships, and more.

Healthy coping strategies help us


whenever we have a problem or are
stressed. and this is an example of
healthy coping strategies.

The unhealthy coping strategies we


know help our problem, but they do not
help our body or mental health.

And this is the example of Unhealthy


coping strategies.

-Drug or Alcohol use


-Over Eating
-Sleeping less or too much
-Self harm
-Aggression
-Negative self-talk

Example talking negatively to yourself.


Do you do this when you are alone, or
do you lose self-confidence?

Yes ma'am, when I lose my self-confidence,


I tell myself that I am ugly, and I put
