PHẦN I. LÝ THUYẾT
1. Cách dùng
So sánh hơn thường được sử dụng cho việc so sánh 2 hay nhiều vật/người với nhau.
2. Công thức
*So sánh hơn với tính từ ngắn:
S1 + adj + er + than + S2 + trợ động từ
S1 + adj + er + than + tân ngữ/ danh từ/ đại từ
Ví dụ: This book is thicker than that one.
*So sánh hơn với tính từ dài:
S1 + more + adj + than + S2 + trợ động từ
S1 + more + adj + than + tân ngữ/ danh từ/ đại từ
Ví dụ: He is more intelligent than I am = He is more intelligent than me.
Lưu ý: So sánh hơn được nhấn mạnh bằng cách thêm “much” hoặc “far” trước hình
thức so sánh.
Ví dụ: My house is far more expensive than hers.
3. Các trường hợp tính từ bất quy tắc
