We are the Grade 12 STEM students of Baguio City National High School, currently immersed in our Practical
Research 2 subject. We are writing to formally seek your approval for the utilization of the University of the
Baguio laboratory to conduct tests on Klebsiella and Pseudomonas bacteria.

Our research project revolves around evaluating the effectiveness of electrolytically-generated Hypochlorous
Acid as a hand sanitizer against gram-negative bacteria, specifically Klebsiella and Pseudomonas. Access to the
cutting-edge facilities at UB would undoubtedly elevate the quality and precision of our study.

We are pleased to inform you that our Research Adviser, Mr. Joey B. Lartec, has already approved this research
endeavor. We understand the importance of adhering to all necessary precautions and protocols in handling and
utilizing bacterial cultures. Rest assured, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and
